In this article, we are publishing a list of the National Law Universities – NLUs, Private Colleges and Private Universities which will use CLAT PG 2021 or CLAT LLM 2021 results for admission into various LLM programs across India. The CLAT PG 2021 scores will also be used by several PSUs for recruitment to their Legal Officer cadre.
While twenty two NLUs across India will admit students through the CLAT PG 2021, the National Law University (NLU) Delhi will continue to conduct it’s own separate entrance exam called the AILET PG (All India Law Entrance Test).
In 2019, there were 47 Private Colleges and Private Universities which accepted CLAT PG scores for their LLM program admissions. In 2020, the number increased to 61 private institutions. This increase is a testament to the rising popularity of the CLAT PG examination.

National Law Universities in the CLAT PG 2021 Consortium
The CLAT Consortium for 2021 will see the participation of all the twenty two NLUs, with the exception of NLU Delhi. Due to the delays in the conduct of the CLAT, NLSIU experimented with a separate entrance exam called the NLAT in 2020. However, this was challenged in the court by the CLAT Consortium and all the admissions were finally done through the CLAT itself.
