Salary and Benefits

The pay scale is in the grade of Rs. 60,000- 1,80,000/- with an increment of 3% per year. Besides Basic Pay, the employee is entitled to allowance @ 35% of Basic Pay under Cafeteria Allowance, Dearness Allowance, HRA/Company Accommodation, Contributory Provident Fund, Conveyance Maintenance, Substantial Performance Related Pay (PRP), Medical Facility for self and dependents, Gratuity, Post Retirement Benefit Scheme and Composite Social Security Scheme as per Company rules.

 

Minimum Eligibility Criteria for ONGC PSU Recruitment through CLAT PG LLM

Graduate Degree in Law (BCI recognized LLB degree) with minimum 60% marks. Practicing Advocates with 3 years of post qualification experience would be preferred for all categories.

No specifications have been given about the type of experience, therefore practicing as an Advocate or Employment in a Company may be considered as valid. • OBC – 33 years

• Persons with Disabilities (PWD) – 40 years (further relaxed by 3 yrs for OBC and 5 years for SC,ST)
• Ex-Service men (General, OBC, SC, ST) – 35 years

 

Selection Process for ONGC PSU Recruitment through CLAT PG LLM

• Eligible candidates meeting age and minimum eligibility criteria of ONGC will be required to appear in Common Law Admission Test (CLAT PG)
• Candidates will be shortlisted for Personal Interview round on the basis of CLAT PG Score. Note: Score from the current year’s CLAT PG examination ONLY is valid for this year’s recruitment exercise. Scores from previous CLAT examinations are not valid.
• Final Selection will be on the basis of aggregate scores obtained by the candidates in the CLAT PG exam, with weightage for Educational Qualification (Including additional higher qualification i.e. Ph.D) and performance in personal Interview.

 

The weightage for various parts of the selection process are as below :

• Qualification – 25 marks (20 marks for essential qualification and 5 marks for inline Ph.D)
  CLAT PG Scores – 60 marks
  Interview – 15 marks
• The Minimum qualifying marks in the Interview round will be :
  UR and OBC – 9 Marks
  SC,ST and PwD – 6 Marks

 

Candidates have to qualify at each stage/criteria for final selection. If total marks are identical for multiple candidates, the order of merit will be decided on the basis of Weightage of CLAT Scores and if the CLAT Scores are identical, seniority in age will be used for deciding the final order of merit.
