The NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY, DELHI is a premier Law University established in the capital city of India. The University invites applications for admission to LL.M. program for the Academic Year 2019–20 commencing from August, 2019. Eligibility, total seats and other details for are as under:

NLU Delhi PG LL.M. – One – Year Program

Eligibility : LL.B. or an Equivalent Law Degree with 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/ Persons with Disabilities). The candidates appearing in final year LL.B. Examination in April/May, 2019 can also apply.

Total Seats : 80 [70 Seats on merit through All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) and 10 Seats for direct admission to Foreign Nationals on merit (5 seats for Foreign Nationals & 5 seats for OCI/PIO)]. Foreign Nationals are exempted from AILET (No. of seats may vary)

* Once a student has chosen a particular stream, s/he will not have the option of changing the stream. A stream (specialization) will be offered only if at least 5 students opt for it.

Reservation : 15% for SC candidates, 7.5% for ST candidates, 5% for Persons with Disabilities. One additional supernumerary seat for Kashmiri Migrants.

Admission to the NLU Delhi LL.M. and Ph.D. Programmes will be through AILET 2019 ( AILET PG 2019) to be conducted at Bangalore, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Cuttack, Delhi, Gandhinagar, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Jodhpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Patna, Raipur, and Varanasi on May 5, 2019 (Sunday).

Interested candidates should apply only online on payment of Rs.3,050/- (Rupees Three Thousand Fifty Only) for General Category Candidates, Rs.1,050/- (Rupees One thousand Fifty only) in case of SC/ST and Persons with Disabilities (PD) along with copy of requisite Caste/Persons with Disabilities Certificate. Below Poverty Line (BPL) applicants of SC/ST Category are exempted
from application fee.

NLU Delhi AILET PG 2019 Application Process :

The candidates should apply only online for admission through: http://nludelhi.admissionhelp.com or through the NLU Delhi Official website up to April 8, 2019.

The admit cards will be available online w.e.f. April 22, 2019 on the above websites.

1. The reservations for admissions are subject to any decision by the Govt. of NCT of Delhi and NLU Delhi
2. The National Law University Delhi has not authorized any agent/agency for admission. No payment should be made to any unauthorized person.

Minimum Requirements of online application for AILET PG 2019 LLM Entrance Test

  • Valid E-mail Address
  • Valid Mobile Number
  • Scanned Copy of Photograph and Candidate’s signature ( in .jpg,.gif or .bmp format) not more than 100 KB
  • 75% of the photograph must cover the candidate’s face
  • Click on upload button (in the official application form) to check your photo uploaded correctly or not
  • Candidates with incorrectly filled photographs are liable to be disqualified

Instructions for filling the AILET PG 2019 admission application form

  • On the login page, click on the Register to apply now link.
  • Read relevant details about the course and application from the home page links. Most importantly, Eligibility Criteria,Selection Process and Reservation Guidelines.
  • Fill the details into User Registration Form.
  • Confirm Registration details by clicking on the Confirm button.
  • After you Login in the first page that is displayed is “Application Locker”. Click on NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY from the List of colleges
  • Choose your application form and click on Apply Button.
  • Fill all details on the form for each of the sections. Incomplete forms will be summarily rejected.
  • Click Submit for saving all details and proceeding back to the Application Locker for making payment for all pending application forms.
  • In the Application Locker, under the Pending Applications area, choose your forms for which you wish to make payment and Click on Make Payment.
  • On the Make Payment Page, choose Mode of Payment and verify the Amount and Click on Proceed.

Steps For Cash Deposit at Post office

  1. First Select Cash Deposit at Post Office
  2. Click proceed and than select your city & branch & click for slip .
  3. Deposit slips are displayed in duplicated.
  4. Print the slip as displayed on the screen.
  5. Deposit Cash along with deposit slip at branch chosen in step 2
  6. Please collect documents as specified in points 6 and 7.
  7. For Cash Deposit at Post Office – Upon deposit, One part of the deposit slip is stamped and a receipt slip issued and is returned to the depositor (to be retained by the student) and the other part is retained by the post office as a record.

Steps If Credit Card /Debit Card & Net Banking Mode is selected 

  1. On the next page give your card details like card no. , and the expiry date.
  2. Please keep ready your Internet Banking password against the Card for which you are making a transaction.
  3. If mode of payment is Net banking, you will be forwarded to the respective bank’s site where your account details are verified and payment approved. After that click ‘proceed’ .
  4. After payment has been received, you will receive confirmation through mail after which student will view & print acknowledgment slip in the from their e-mail or from the Application Locker under the Application Submitted area.

Foreign Nationals: Foreign Nationals: The annual tuition fee shall be in Indian Rupees equivalent to 5,000 (Five Thousand Only) US Dollars for candidates from SAARC countries and 10,000 (Ten Thousand Only) US Dollars from other countries. Other fees will be same as applicable to Indian students.

• In addition to above, Mess advance INR 21000.00 per semester will be paid by the students to be adjusted as per actual charges/expenses of the Hostel Mess. The amount may be increased after reviewing the actual expenses on the recommendations of Mess Committee, if required, with the approval of the Vice-Chancellor.

*50% of the deposits remaining after dues will go towards Student Welfare Fund and 50% towards Alumni on completion of the course. The Student Welfare Fund and Alumni Fund shall be kept in a separate accounts and will be used only for students & alumni.
