Admission Notification, Eligibility details and Question paper pattern for the Himachal Pradesh National Law Entrance Test - HPNLET 2018 LLM entrance

Note: From 2019, HPNLET has been cancelled and HPNLU Shimla will admit students through the CLAT exam – for both PG & UG courses. HPNLU is part of the CLAT consortium which conducts the CLAT PG exam from 2019 onward.

The Himachal Pradesh National Law University, Shimla has invited online applications for admission to Post Graduate Programme for the academic session 2018-19 through the Himachal Pradesh National Law Entrance Test – HPNLET 2018, as per the following details.
For the One Year LL.M. Program, the intake is 20 students; Out of the total sanctioned strength, 25 % seats are reserved for Himachal Pradesh State Domicile Candidates as per HPNLU Act, 2016.

Within the Sanctioned Intake for each course as well as seats reserved for Himachal Pradesh Domicile Candidates and All India Seats, the reservation of seats are as under:
SC: 15%
ST: 7.5%
Differently Abled: 5%

Note:-Out of 20 Seats, for LL.M. Program, 05 seats are reserved for women candidates

Important dates:
Date of Commencement of filling up ONLINE application forms 22nd January 2018
Last Date of Application: 7th April 2018
Date of Entrance Test: 20th May 2018, 10.00 A.M. to 12.00 Noon
Date of Declaration of Result 2nd June, 2018

Post Graduate Program – One Year LL.M. Course – Educational Qualification for eligibility:
LL.M. or equivalent degree with a minimum of 55% marks. Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination in April/May 2018 are also eligible to apply.
