Important activities and dates, deadlines for CLAT PG LLM 2018

The Common Law Admission Test – CLAT 2018 has been announced, which includes the CLAT PG LLM 2018 for admission to the Post Graduate LLM programs in the National Law Schools and other participating institutions.

Note : Refer to the relevant articles on LawMint.com for syllabus and details of the current year’s admissions process. Since 2019, the CLAT is conducted by the CLAT consortium headquartered in Bengaluru.

The 2018 CLAT PG LLM admission examination will be conducted by the National University of Advanced Legal Studies, Kochi, Kerala, India (NUALS). CLAT PG 2020 & 2021- Comprehension Mock Tests Series & Previous Question Papers

  • Overall there are 100+ separate comprehension passages - with 750+ questions based on the passages
    - Of the above, 50+ passages are provided as stand-alone mini mock tests
    - 48 passages are combined to form 4 full-length mock tests (12 passages - 120 questions each)
    - All answers include the 'rationale' for the answers for better understanding.
  • The order of the questions and the answer choices are shuffled with every attempt to enable repeated practice
  • All the stand-alone passages & full length mocks should be repeated till you score 100% on each attempt
  • The passages are of various lengths and complexities for better practice
  • Unlimited access & practice - valid for one year from date of purchase

5 Date of CLAT PG LLM 2018 online Examination 13th May, 2018 (Sunday) from 03:00 pm to 05:00 pm
5 a. Date of uploading the Answer Key 15th May, 2018 (Tuesday)
5 b. Representation, if any, relating to the exam, questions or key 16th May – 18th May, 2018 (Wednesday – Friday)
5 c. Date for uploading the amended answer key (if required) 26th May, 2018 (Saturday)
6 Declaration of results, i.e., issue of Merit List (Category-wise) 31st May, 2018 (Thursday)
7 Publication of the first indicative seat allocation list based on merit-cum-preference 7th June, 2018 (Thursday)
8 Date for payment of counselling fee of Rs. 50,000/- (Rupees Fifty thousand only)

Note: The candidates failing to deposit the required fees by the specified date will forfeit their right to be considered for admission in CLAT PG LLM 2018 and their names will be dropped from the CLAT PG LLM 2018 Merit List. Date for locking of allotted seats or exercising option for shifting against the next indicative seat allocation list.

8th June – 12th June, 2018 (Friday – Tuesday)
9 Publication of the second allotment list after payment of counselling fee. 16th June, 2018 (Saturday)
10 Date for payment of counselling fee for the candidates whose names appear for the first time in the second provisional allotment list 17th June – 19th June, 2018 (Sunday – Tuesday)
11 Date for locking of allotted seats after exercising option for shifting or withdrawing from the admission process against the second allotment list. 17th June – 19th June, 2018 (Sunday – Tuesday)
12 Last date of withdrawal from the Admission Process.

Note: The counselling fee of those candidates who withdraw up to 19th June, 2018, will be refunded after deducting Rs. 10,000/-
There shall be no refund of counselling fee after the last date of withdrawal from admission process i.e., 19th June, 2018.

13 Publication of the third allotment list 24th June ,2018 (Sunday)
14 Payment of full fees by the candidates whose name appear for the first time in the third allotment list to the allotted Universities 28th – 30th June, 2018 (Thursday – Saturday)
15 Candidates to complete the admission formalities at the allotted NLU’s for admission against allotment list.
16 Date for receiving status of admissions from the participating NLU (s) in the CLAT Office 4th July, 2018 (Wednesday)
17 Date of closure of admission process by the CLAT PG LLM 2018 Office 6th July, 2018 (Friday)

Note : After the closure of the CLAT Office, vacancy if any, in any NLU will be filled by the respective NLU at their own level from the CLAT list in the order of merit as per the Rules and Regulations of the participating Universities.
