(POSOCO), a Govt. of India Enterprise, under Ministry of Power, Govt. of India, is a Knowledge based organization of national importance. It is responsible for managing the power system operations – a mission critical activity, with security, economy and reliability. To achieve this, it has adopted a multi-disciplinary approach with state of the art technology.

POSOCO ensures equitable use of Transmission Infrastructure and has invested significantly in its human capital and towards strengthening the whole power system faculty. It operates the National Load Dispatch Center and the five Regional Load Dispatch Centers.

To support its current requirements and also to take the growth curve to further heights, POSOCO regularly looks for Bright, Committed and Energetic Law Graduates to join them as Executive Trainees (Law).

 

Compensation Package for POSOCO Executive Trainee (Law)

Selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of ₹ 60000-180000 and other allowances and benefits as applicable, during the one-year training period. The Corporation offers a very attractive pay package which is one of the best in the Industry.

On regularization, compensation package will also include Performance Related Pay, Company Leased Accommodation / Company Quarters or HRA, Reimbursement of monthly conveyance expenditure, mobile facility, Group Insurance, Personal Accident Insurance, PF, Gratuity, Pension & Leave encashment etc.

Age Limit for POSOCO PSU Recruitment through CLAT PG LLM

The upper age limit for recruitment as a Executive Trainee (Law) in POSOCO is 28 years as on the specific date mentioned in the notification.

 

Essential Qualification for Executive Trainee (Law) in POSOCO

Full time Three years LLB or Five years integrated law course with not less than 60% marks or equivalent CGPA as per the formula provided by the Institute/ University.

Final Year / Semester students of the current academic session, who expect their results by the last date of application, are also eligible to apply, provided they have obtained minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in aggregate of all semesters/years up to pre-final examination at the time of applying.

 

Selection Process for POSOCO PSU Recruitment through CLAT PG LLM

Interested & eligible candidates should hold a valid score from the current year’s Common Law Admission Test – CLAT applicable for admission to Post-Graduation Courses. Candidates obtaining the minimum qualifying marks will only be eligible for the next stage of selection.

The selection process will include the marks obtained by the eligible candidates in the CLAT (for PG), followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview of the qualified candidates who are shortlisted category wise for the GD and interview.

Candidates shortlisted for the Group Discussion and Interview will be required to submit the documents as may be mentioned in their individual communication or notification.

 

Qualifying Marks in GD & Interview

GD will not have any qualifying marks. Interview will have qualifying marks for different categories as mentioned below.

Category Qualifying – Marks in Interview

• Unreserved – 40%
• Reserved – 30%

 

Weightage to Different Parameters in the selection process

For calculation of final score of a candidate for empanelment, the weightages assigned to CLAT marks, Group Discussion and Interview will be as indicated below.

• Marks in CLAT – 85%
• Group Discussion – 3%
• Personal Interview – 12%

 

Empanelment of Candidates

• Candidates who qualify in the Personal Interview will only be adjudged suitable for empanelment.
• Therefore it is again reiterated that candidates will have to qualify in CLAT and in Personal Interview separately in order to be considered eligible for empanelment.
• The Offer of Appointment will be issued to the suitable candidates in the order of category wise merit and based on requirement.
• Appointment of selected candidates will be subject to their being found medically fit in the Pre – Employment Medical Examination.
