Important : The question paper pattern has changed for the year 2020. The new pattern will consist of comprehension based questions. i.e. MCQs based on passages about various legal topics. In the LawMint Mock Tests, we have provided many different practice passages for extensive practice.

In the previous CLAT PG exam, Eighty Three (83) LawMint users were offered seats across various NLUs. (See the table at the end of this article).  Several of our users have also cracked the AILET PG and the IIT KGP LLM entrance.

Where are the comprehension passages derived from?

The comprehension passages are drawn from case judgement, newspaper editorials, legal articles and book extracts. A wide range of passages of varying lengths and different complexities allows for extensive practice.

Rather than clubbing together all the passages as mock tests, we have retained 50+ passages as stand-alone ‘mini mock tests’ and 48 have been combined together to form full length mocks as per the latest CLAT PG pattern for 2020.

The idea is to practice each passage multiple times (till you score 100%) to get used to reading lengthy passages and deriving answers from them. To enable repeated practice, our system will shuffle all the questions within every passage and the answer choices within each question in every attempt. This forces users to pay attention to the question and answer choices and not merely remember the answer as ‘a’, ‘b’, ‘c’ or ‘d’.
