Note : As per the CLAT Consortium notification on 21st Nov 2019, the CLAT PG 2020 will have comprehension based questions. The descriptive portion will remain same as last year. The pattern of the CLAT PG LLM examination has evolved over the years, with the number of questions and the overall pattern changing every few years. Between 2009 to 2014, the question paper had objective and essay type questions. From 2015 onward, the CLAT PG LLM is a completely objective type exam.

  • CLAT PG 2012 : 100 objective type questions 
  • CLAT PG 2013 : 50 objective type questions

  • CLAT PG 2015 : 150 objective type questions
  • CLAT PG 2016 : 150 objective type questions
  • CLAT PG 2017 : 150 objective type questions

For further practice there are Forty Mock Tests- Sample Papers with 150 questions each, drawn from a question bank of over 4500 CLAT PG LLM 2018 specific MCQs.

All papers are timed & have negative marking for wrong answers – for better and realistic practice.

The order of questions and the answer choices in the tests are intentionally shuffled so that you can take each test multiple number of times for additional practice.

The pattern of the question paper for admission to the Post-Graduate Course for CLAT-2018 is as under:

(a)Maximum Marks  150
(b)Duration of CLAT-2018 Exam  02:00 Hours
(c)Multiple-Choice Questions  150 questions of one mark each
(d)Syllabus Questions will be asked from the following areas of Law:
1. Constitutional Law50 Marks
2. Jurisprudence50 Marks
3. Other Law Subjects such as Contract, Torts, Criminal Law, International Law, IPR etc.50 Marks
(e)Negative Marking  0.25 Mark will be deducted for each wrong answer
