Intent or purpose of the Transfer of Property Act, 1882

The Legislature of India enacted the Transfer of Property Act, 1882 on 17th February 1882, to amend the law relating to the Transfer of Property by act of Parties.

The act is associated with the Ministry of Law and Justice – Department of Legislative Department.
